BT » Flaming June (PARAFRAME Remix) Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 28-07-25 16:41 Label: Black Hole Recordings Format: Digital Genre: Trance / Progressive While very few, if any, remixes of Flaming June will match or even better the original mix, some reframe the track; taking it into new directions. We've had a few over the years; BT's own Laptop Symphony mix being just one. Paul van Dyk's own remix being another. But now, PARAFRAME drops his own proggy remake on Black Hole. Not quite trance but almost. Adopting a proggy build, this remix rebalances the track for the lower bpm floors. That said, it has an energy about it. While it won't reach the atmospheric heights of the original, and lets face it, what version will?, it has a life all of its own. Myself personally, I like it.
